This model will fit MacBook Air or Retina SSD 12 + 16 pins. (SSD on Macs after 2013) M.2 NGFF M Key PCIe type connector (not suitable for a dedicated SATA type M2 port!) Ultra flat socket. Usable without drivers, SSD will be seen by motherboard as "normal" M2 SSD Will ONLY fit Macbook SSDs in 12+16 pin. Can only be read on M2 port for PCIe SSD type AHCI or NVMe. Remember that "Mac" formats are different from "Windows" formats: for a reading of the SSD on Windows you will need to use a specific software (for example, like HSF explorer).
