Manufactured from high quality octagonal chrome vanadium steel with a ground cutting edge, in accordance with BS 3066. For use on brickwork, masonry and cold metals. Used for cutting round bottomed grooves in steel such as oil grooves and also for 'roughing up' surfaces to be chipped by a flat chisel. The job is made easier by cutting grooves across the surface with this type of chisel then the raised portion can be easily chipped away with a flat blade.
