The bark surrounding the outside of each disc remains in tact for a natural and real feel. Since these are real wood some bark may partially fall from each disc when decorating, however this will just add to the rustic charm. EASY TO DECORATE: Since each wooden disc has been sanded down it makes them easy to draw on, paint, engrave or burn for pyrography. You can even use them straight out of the box as country style coasters. The discs come complete and do not have a pre-drilled hole, however it is very easy to drill a hole in each for hanging.
