The raised edges and the angular shape of the children's plate make it easier for small gourmets to eat with cutlery. The plates as well as the other parts of the GEO series can be stacked inside each other and can be stored on the shelf to save space for on the go or at home. The Geo harness is predominantly bio-based. Unlike conventional plastics, the bioplastic developed by LÄSSIG is not made from limited petroleum resources, but from over 85% vegetable raw materials, e.g. sweet grasses such as sugar cane. Thus, the GEO tableware offers a long-term alternative to disposable or petroleum-based plastic tableware while saving valuable resources. The LÄSSIG GEO harness has been certified according to international standard ASTM D 6866:2020-02 by DIN CERTCO as > 85% bio-based. It is also BPA and melamine free and dishwasher safe up to 65°C.
