Allow 10 minutes for the mixture to react. Meanwhile, fill a container with 1 litre of treated water, making sure it is free of debris and particulate matter. Place the mixture in the water. Allow 10 minutes for the water to stand. If the water is very cold, cloudy, or Giardia/Cryptosporidium is suspected, wait 30 minutes before entering. The water is now safe to drink. The Lifesystems Chlorine Droplets contain a 30ml purifier and a 30ml activator to treat up to 60 litres of water. It is easy to use, simply make sure the water is relatively clear before opening both bottles and adding 12 drops from each into one of the bottle caps.
