Aged 13 years from Springbank’s renowned distillery, delivering smoky fruit, cocoa and vanilla with depth and balance. Longrow 2017 Release Red Malbec Cask Matured Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch 13 year old 51.3% ABV Nose: Smoked pink grapefruit, crunchy red berries (cranberry and redcurrant), pink wafers, subtle earthy strawberry plant notes, red liquorice and salted rose water. Palate: Stewed plums and redcurrant jelly lead the palate, with crunchy tannins framing depth. Peppery strawberry, leather and liquorice intertwine, while a salty, smoked shortbread echoes and lingers into a savory, complex finish. Finish: Dry and leathery, big red wine/black grape tannins, peppery red chilli flake heat but balanced by smoked red berries and some salty-meaty/savoury notes late on.
