The integrated digital display is mounted at 90° to the direction of travel - enabling the reading face to be positioned independently of the measurement axis for improved visibility in confined installations, machine tool DRO retrofits, and custom fixture gauging applications. Vertical Display - 90° to Travel Direction | Hardened and Ground Stainless Steel Beam – The MS-272-100 display head is oriented perpendicular to the scale beam, allowing installation in orientations where a horizontal (in-line) display is impractical. The scale beam is precision-machined from hardened and ground stainless steel. Rear carriage mounting points enable installation to measuring machines, custom inspection fixtures, lathes, milling machines, and production gauging systems.
