La fabbrica della pasta di Gragnano is a magical place where the tradition and experience of 3 generations of family and the secrets of the past meet the best and most modern technology Every single step of production is handcrafted and every little detail is pursued with passion. Only the best 100% Italian durum wheat semolina from the first extraction (only the heart of the wheat grain) is used, combined with water from the thousand year old spring in Gragnano and processed using the traditional bronze process. This unique pasta is completed by a slow and gentle drying at a low temperature, which gives the characteristic taste, color and roughness of the surface. Thanks to these characteristics, in 2012 “la fabbrica della pasta di Gragnano” was the first pasta producer in Italy to be awarded the geographically protected recognition “Pasta di Gragnano IGP”.
