RUN DIAMOND CORE BITS FROM A 3 JAW CHUCK: Clamp the hex shank in the chuck of a corded or cordless drill, then screw on a dry diamond core bit with a 1/2 inch BSP female thread to cut holes for pipes, cables, extractor fans and ducting. HEX SHANK FOR A SECURE CHUCK GRIP: The hexagonal shank gives the three chuck jaws flat faces to clamp on, helping to stop the adaptor spinning in the chuck when the core bites into brick, block or concrete. INTERNAL TAPER FOR A PILOT DRILL: A tapered seat inside the adaptor accepts a Marcrist precision pilot drill with a taper shank (sold separately), so the core starts on your mark instead of skating across the wall. RUNS TRUE AND STANDS UP TO SITE WORK: Precision engineered for centricity and minimised vibration, so the core runs true and cuts accurate, round holes. Hardened for long, safe use.
