RUN DIAMOND CORE BITS FROM AN SDS PLUS MACHINE: Push the shank into the chuck of an SDS plus drill or rotary hammer, then screw on a dry diamond core bit with a 1/2 inch BSP female thread to cut holes for pipes, cables and ducting. INTERNAL TAPER FOR A PILOT DRILL: A tapered seat inside the adaptor holds a taper shank pilot drill, sold separately, so the core starts on your mark. The hole through the side lets you tap the pilot drill back out with a drift key. TOOL STEEL, MACHINED TO 0.25 MM: Marcrist machines these adaptors from high quality tool steel to a precision of 0.25 mm, so the core runs true. Runout and vibration in the adaptor slow the cut and shorten the life of a diamond core. MINIMISED VIBRATION, CORROSION RESISTANT: Precision engineered to run concentrically for less vibration through the machine, and corrosion and rust resistant, so the thread and shank stay clean in the van and on site.
