Timeless Pipistrello Med table lamp with cable dimmer Whether vintage, modern or creative – the Pipistrello Med LED table lamp is a high-quality, attractive accessory that harmonises with numerous contemporary interior design concepts. The Pipistrello ("bat") series was designed back in 1965 by Italian architect and designer Gaetana "Gae" Aulenti (1927–2012). Since then, manufacturer Martinelli Luce has been producing the series of lights in impeccable quality. The concave base consists of a lower section made of lacquered aluminium and an upper, extendable section made of stainless steel. This is topped by a semicircular lampshade made of opal methacrylate, which is divided into four sections and emits an even light when in use.
