The ForgeFix TechFast Masonry Screw is a self-tapping, no-stress alternative to plastic plugs designed for quick and secure installation in brick, stone, clay, or concrete blocks. It features an 8 mm hex head with a TORX compatible recess and is supplied with a T27 impact bit for driving. The two-step installation involves drilling a hole in the substrate and driving in the screw with a power tool. Sized at 6.3 x 32 mm, this steel screw is protected by an Elementech coating for fire and corrosion resistance and salt spray testing has been conducted. Each box contains 100 screws and is compatible with impact drivers and power drills equipped with a T27 impact bit.
