SOLAR CHARGING, SO THERE ARE NO AA BATTERIES TO BUY - A built-in 2000mAh battery is topped up by a solar panel that tilts through 120 degrees, so you can angle it at whatever light your tap position actually gets. A Type-C port gives you indoor backup charging through long grey spells; the pairing light flashes green while charging and the exact battery percentage shows in the app. A 5V/1A cable is required and is not included. APP AND VOICE CONTROL, NO HUB TO BUY - The timer joins your 2.4GHz WiFi directly through the Smart Life app, so there is no gateway to power or pay for. Water by hand whenever you like, pause a running schedule without wiping the saved ones, and read back seven days of watering records from anywhere. Voice commands work for Alexa and for Google Home once the Smart Life skill is linked. Please note: 2.4GHz WiFi only, working pressure 7.25-116 psi so gravity-fed water butts and rain barrels cannot open the valve, and below 4.5C drain it and bring it indoors, or site it in a sunlit sunroom and leave it up all winter.
