Amazon HF BANDS ONLY, 1.5 TO 60MHZ: The rear panel is printed FREQ:1.5-60MHz MAX:120W, so this SWR meter covers the shortwave amateur bands from 160m up to 6m and the 27MHz CB band. It does not work on VHF or UHF, so a 144MHz or 430MHz handheld transceiver needs a different meter, and the 125-525MHz range belongs to the separate SW-28 VU version instead. POWER 0.2W TO 120W, ALARM AT 2.0: The manual gives a power range of 0.2W to 120W and an SWR range of 1:1 to 19.99:1, and the buzzer sounds as soon as standing wave ratio passes 2.0 so you can drop the carrier before your transmitter takes any harm. Full-scale VSWR measurement requires at least 2 Watt, which means a 1W QRP carrier still registers on the power scale but does not give a dependable SWR figure. 50 OHM SO-239 SOCKETS MARKED ANT AND TX: Both sockets are SO-239 type with 50 Ohm impedance, one marked ANT for the aerial and one marked TX for the transmitter, so the SWR meter sits in line between the radio and the feeder. A coaxial patch lead to suit SO-239 sockets is needed on the radio side and is not supplied, and a set fitted with BNC or SMA connectors needs an adapter as well. BACKLIT READOUT WITH 3 DISPLAY MODES: The backlit LED display shows forward power, standing wave, antenna power and efficiency, and the Menu and Peak/Avg buttons step through the three interface modes NOR, PEAK and PEAK-Q. Your last setting is stored automatically and comes back at the next start-up, so the meter is ready to read the moment you power the rig up. BATTERY OR USB-C POWER IN A 175 G CASE: The built-in rechargeable lithium battery runs this SWR meter away from the mains, the Chg lamp glows red while charging and goes out once the cell is full, and the 5V USB-C port keeps it going on the bench. The case measures 88 x 63 x 38 mm and weighs 175 g, the box holds the meter, one USB cable and one manual, and the maker advises connecting it only while you take a reading and disconnecting it afterwards.
