Mcbazel Surecom SW 111 100 Watt SWR/Power Meter for CB Radio Antenna

DUAL SWR AND POWER READINGS ON ONE DIAL: This Surecom SW-111 SWR meter wires in between your set and your aerial and reads both standing wave ratio and relative power on a single analogue dial, so one box covers the two checks a 27-30MHz CB station needs. Set the PWR and SWR toggle to PWR for a relative power reading, or to SWR for the ratio, and read the needle against the printed scale. SET THE CAL CONTROL BEFORE EVERY READING: Put the PWR and SWR toggle to SWR and the range toggle to 10W FWD, key a steady carrier, then turn the CAL knob until the needle sits on the red SET mark. Flick the range toggle to 100W REF and read the SWR scale, which runs from 1:1 to 3:1. One knob is all you calibrate, and re-setting it on each range is what keeps an analogue SWR meter honest. COMPACT BATTERY-FREE BOX FOR THE CAB OR THE SHACK: The case measures 10.5 x 8.6 x 8 cm and sits in one hand, and it carries no battery tray, no charging socket and no mains adaptor anywhere on it, so you have nothing to charge and nothing to replace. Leave this SWR meter wired in permanently in a lorry cab, a 4x4 or a home shack, and it is ready to read with nothing to power up. 27-30MHZ CB BAND ONLY, NOT A VHF OR UHF METER: This SWR meter is made for the CB band at 27-30MHz and does not support VHF or UHF, so it will not give a usable figure on a 2m or 70cm handheld, and it is not a wideband amateur instrument either. Check that the rig you want to test transmits inside 27-30MHz before you order, and keep a separate meter for any band outside that range. WHAT IS IN THE BOX AND WHAT YOU STILL SUPPLY: The package holds one analogue meter and nothing else, so the two 50 ohm coaxial patch leads you need are not included and you buy them separately. Screw the lead from your radio into the rear socket marked TRANS and the lead from your aerial into the socket marked ANT, and check the rear panel photograph against your own leads before you order so the threads match.
