Watts membrane safety valve for closed hot water heaters (blow-off pressure: 6 bar) Connections: input: 1/2 inch internal thread x output: 3/4 inch internal thread. Max. Performance up to approx. 50 KW Material: pressed brass CW617N according to EN 12165-99; membrane made of heat-resistant and ageing resistant material; rotating cap made of impact-resistant plastic; spring made of NiCr steel. The blow-off pressure is preset by the factory and secured against adjustment by a pressed safety disc bearing the blow-off pressure and the component test mark. The function of the safety valve must be checked once a year by a professional: by venting the rotating cap a manual release is effected to clean the valve seat. Installation requirements: the membrane safety valve must be installed at a point with minimum temperature, at the highest point or in the flow in the immediate vicinity of the heat generator, taking into account the direction of the arrow.
