The Ventex valve uses low pressure valve technology which helps provide optimal airflow and significantly reduces heat and moisture inside the mask. The addition of an ActivForm seal (cushioned flange) in the nose area reduces the possibility of inward leakage by automatically adjusting to different face shapes. This means that unlike other traditional half-masks which rely on a user 'press-to-fit' technique, the Moldex New Generation respirator fits on contact.
