THE BASE I The Net1 Conquer Basketball System features our 145-litre ‘Big Box Base’. The base is made from high-density, blow-moulded polyurethane which should be filled with either sand or water. While it’s portable enough to be wheeled around on its fully integrated, front-facing wheel, when ground anchors (sold separately) are fitted to the side, it’s going nowhere fast. THE POLE I The Conquer has a hard-wearing 3-piece powder coated post with 1.2mm wall thickness. The post is 7.62mm in diameter and features NET1’s spring-assisted E-ZEE Height Adjuster. E-ZEE can move the rim to one of six different height setting, from 2.28m (7’5”) to 3.05m (10’), in seconds without the use of tools. Thanks to the E-ZEE system, the Conquer backboard sits further forward - the greater overhang offers more space to play under the hoop. THE BACKBOARD I The game shaped Conquer backboard is made from impact resistant polypropylene and has UV inhibitors to reduce discolouration. A rear-mounted steel T-Bar gives offers improved rebound characteristics over non-supported backboards. THE HOOP I The full-size solid steel stylish black hoop has the type of compression sprung rim you see in the pro game offering more authentic shooting feedback. The Conquer also features an all-weather 12-loop nylon net. THE PLAYER I The Conquer’s base, with the option of semi-permanent fixing, is for adult and young adult players who want a sturdier game-ready system that can withstand more play above-the-rim. The Pro-level NET1 Conquer Basketball Hoop features a 111 x 71cm contact injection rectangle pp backboard with 'T' bar support and UV Inhibitors. The overhanging backboard under the hoop is perfect for practicing lay ups or for close quarter play. The16mm solid steel hoop has a compression spring and a rim diameter 45.72 with 2.5mm backplate. There is a 12 loop all-weather net and the 3 piece powder coated pole measures 7.62cm in diameter with a 1.2mm wall thickness. It is easy to adjust the height from 2.28 - 3.05m (7'6" - 10') and adjusts to your desired height in seconds without the use of tools. The pole comes with a protective pole pad. For stability, the 145 litre blow - moulded base, fills with either sand or water. If using water, be sure to add antifreeze in colder conditions to avoid the base cracking. Ground anchors are fitted to each side of base. The base is portable and moves on its own, front facing wheel.
