The 9060 is a refined, design-forward evolution of New Balance’s 99X lineage, reinterpreting the classic cues with a Y2K-inspired, futuristic aesthetic. It enlarges the stabilising bars across the upper for a sense of motion, and features wave-like lines and a sculpted pod midsole that emphasise its performance-focused silhouette. The midsole integrates ABZORB and SBS cushioning to enhance comfort and impact absorption, while suede accents, a leather and textile upper, textile lining, and a synthetic sole complete a premium, engineered feel.

Inspired by the 99X series, the 9060 combines heritage details with bold form. The design highlights include expanded stabilising bars that run along the upper and a pod-mmidsole with pronounced shaping to showcase cushioning and ride.
