Glass table lamp Bowl by designer Knut Bendik Humlevik The bulbous shade made of fine smoked glass forms a harmonious symbiosis with the stainless steel base of the Bowl table lamp. The light of the illuminant can spread unhindered in the room, because it is surrounded by an only slightly smoked glass shade. The illuminant is therefore also visible, which is why you should choose a decorative one, e.g. a Rustika or filament lamp. The Danish designer Knut Bendik Humlevik was already a product designer for many years before he became creative director of the Danish company New Works in 2014, which produces furniture as well as lamps and other furnishing and decorative objects.

The Bowl table lamp almost makes it look as though there’s a fire in a small valley – the toned glass that surrounds the electric light bulb has a smoky aura. Thanks to this, the lamp produces a calm and comfortable light. Glass and metal contrast with one another in a way that reminds you of the old lanterns that inspired this modern lamp.
