Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Whisky, 75cl, 45% ABV

BOLD, RICH AND COASTAL JAPANESE SINGLE MALT WHISKY - Nikka Yoichi Single Malt is a rich and coastal single malt whisky made at the Yoichi distillery in Hokkaido, Japan. The distillery is situated at the mouth of the river Yoichi and has been named after its water source FULL -BODIED AND SMOOTH WITH NOTES OF PEAT, APPLE AND SPICES – Nikka Yoichi Single Malt is made predominantly from peated barley which gives soft smoke and an oily richness. It is aged in a combination of American oak and sherry casks, so it is smooth, with candied citrus, nutmeg and ginger notes. The sea air surrounding the casks gives a maritime character to this whisky MADE USING TRADITIONAL METHODS - Yoichi is still made in the same way that Taketsuru learned on his visit to Scotland in 1918-1920.
