Combination of light, geometry and style: floor lamp Balancer The designers Weng Xinyu and Tao Haiyue, who come from China, are Bauhaus graduates and now live and work in Berlin. For the Norwegian designer lighting manufacturer Northern Lighting, they have designed the floor lamp Balancer, which is a symbol of the fusion of geometric shapes, the perfect functionality and an elegant and purist style. So that the spherical head of the lamp, which gives both targeted and diffused light, can be tilted and thus change the height of the light, the cylindrical base is designed as a heavy counterweight, so that the lamp does not tip over and is always balanced - as its name suggests. Straight lines and here and there round shapes, for example at the head of the lamp and at the connection between the fixed base and the pivoting arm, result in a harmonious mix of clear and yet not too hard shapes. Dimmer included.
