Italian glass shade, Norwegian design: Say my name pendant lampWhen Scandinavian design meets Italian craftsmanship, the result is a product like the Say my name pendant lamp by the Norwegian designer lamp manufacturer Northern. Morten & Jonas, two designers from Bergen, are responsible for the designs of Say my name and have used Venetian glassblowers for the production of the glass shade. The matted and formally puristic shade gives the light a soft and homely nuance. Behind the matt glass, the light source can only be guessed at, but it is not completely hidden. Each "Say my name" luminaire is a unique piece because it is handcrafted. Although it has to meet certain standards in terms of shape and colour, it is never 100 percent like another luminaire in the same series.

Lamp Masters

The lovely Say My Name Pendant in Smoked Matte Grey is a beautiful combination of light, colour and craftsmanship with regards to traditional glass manufacturing methods. Say My Name is made in two versions from the same glass – a pendant and a table lamp. Both are highly decorative. The skillset required to create a lamp from a mass of melted glass can only be found amongst masterful glassblowers of Venice, where each lamp is hand-blown.
