Fifteen years of patient maturation in a single refill hogshead. RARELY-BOTTLED AS SINGLE MALT - Glen Elgin is one of Speyside's most highly regarded "blender's distilleries" - its spirit is central to White Horse, the famous Scotch blend, but is rarely bottled as a single malt in its own right. Independent releases like this one are the realistic route to experiencing it. FROM ONE SINGLE CASK – 327 BOTTLES - Drawn entirely from one refill hogshead (ref. 20855), this is a genuine single-cask bottling. Just 327 bottles exist worldwide - a properly characterful small-run release that won't be repeated. BRIGHT, FRAGRANT & CLASSIC SPEYSIDE - A wonderfully bright and fresh nose of Pink Lady apples and peaches coated in honey. A palate that opens creamy and cereal-led, before moving into custard tarts and fresh ginger. A long, satisfying finish of malt, pear drops, citrus peel and subtle baking spices.
