RARE 25 YEAR OLD SPEYSIDE SINGLE MALT - A beautifully matured Single Malt Scotch from the celebrated Glen Spey distillery in Rothes, Speyside - founded in 1878 and one of Scotland's most distinguished "blender's distilleries", whose spirit is central to J&B but rarely bottled as a single malt in its own right. FROM ONE SINGLE SHERRY BUTT – 370 BOTTLES - Drawn entirely from one refill sherry butt (ref. DL18284) - a larger, sherry-seasoned cask that gives the spirit rich dark-fruit depth across twenty-five years of patient maturation. Just 370 bottles produced worldwide. NATURAL CASK STRENGTH 55.6% ABV - Bottled at full, undiluted cask strength, with no colouring and no chill-filtration. A bold, expressive aged Speyside presented exactly as it rested in the cask - nothing added, nothing taken away. RICH DARK FRUITS, SPICE & VANILLA FUDGE - Aromas of orange, barley and warming spice. A palate full of mature dark fruits, with the unmistakable depth of its sherry-cask history and a piquant edge. A long finish of bright citrus woven through vanilla fudge.
