Manor Springs Organic Fine Plain Wholemeal flour is higher in fibre, vitamins, flavour and complexity than standard white wheat flour, thanks to the fact that it contains all of the wheat grain, including the bran. This makes it coarser than standard wheat flour, and gives it a greater capacity for moisture absorption, so you may want to add a little extra liquid when baking with it. Our organic fine wholemeal flour is an excellent choice for baking cookies, cakes, pies muffins and more, where more texture is required than typically provided by standard white flour.
