Osmo Country Colour 750ml - Signal Red - 2311

Osmo Country Colour in Signal Red is an exterior wood finish designed to protect and enhance wooden surfaces. It provides weather and UV resistance, along with water and dirt repellency, while remaining microporous and breathable so the wood can dry and move without cracking, peeling, or flaking. The product is suitable for exterior joinery and is offered in a 750ml volume, with a drying time of about 10–12 hours per coat. A second coat is recommended to maximise protection, and coverage is approximately 26 m² per litre with one coat.

This finish is an opaque natural oil alternative that combines the benefits of oil with the look of paint. It is designed for easy maintenance, with no sanding required for future applications, and can be applied thinly and evenly along the wood grain. The product can be reapplied without extensive preparation, helping to preserve the wood’s appearance over time.

It is important to prepare the wood surface correctly: ensure it is clean, dry and frost-free, stir the product well before use, and do not thin. If possible, apply the first coat to all sides of the wood before installation and use an Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller to apply evenly along the grain. Allow to dry for approximately 10–12 hours in good ventilation before applying a second coat.

Usage
