Osmo Country Colour is an opaque oil exterior finish designed for exterior wood. It combines the benefits of oil with the look of paint, delivering a microporous, breathable coating that is resistant to weather and UV exposure, as well as water and dirt. The finish helps reduce wood swelling and shrinkage while concealing the natural wood grain. It does not crack, peel or flake and eliminates the need for sanding before future maintenance. The product is ready to use and should be applied in two coats, with a typical coverage of around 26 m² per litre per coat.

This finish is intended for exterior joinery and requires proper surface preparation to perform at its best. The appearance and performance can be influenced by wood condition and environmental factors, so a trial application is recommended, particularly on unfamiliar surfaces.

Usage

1. Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 20%).
2. Osmo Country Colour is ready to use. Do not thin. Stir well before use.
3. If possible, apply the first coat to all sides before installation.
4. Clean old microporous stains thoroughly. Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed.
5. As a general rule, wear a dust mask during sanding works.
6. A trial application is always required, especially for unfamiliar surfaces.
