Osmo Country Colour is an exterior wood finish designed to protect against weather, UV and dirt while keeping timber stable. It offers a microporous, breathable layer that hides the natural grain and resists cracking, peeling or flaking. The finish is suitable for exterior wood surfaces and is ready to use with no thinning required. Two coats are recommended, providing a drying time of about 10–12 hours between coats and an approximate coverage of 26 m² per litre per coat. It reduces wood swelling and shrinkage and is formulated to resist moisture, helping maintain the appearance of exterior joinery.

The product blends the benefits of oil with the look of paint, delivering an opaque appearance while maintaining breathability. A trial application is advised on unfamiliar surfaces to account for wood condition and other influencing factors.

Usage

1. Osmo Country Colour is ready to use; do not thin; stir well before use.
2. If possible, apply the first coat to all sides before installation.
3. Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free; moisture content max 20%.
4. Clean old microporous stains thoroughly; remove old paints and lacquers completely.
5. Wear a dust mask during sanding works.
6. Apply two coats; allow 10–12 hours drying time between coats; coverage is 26 m²/L per coat. A trial application is advised on unfamiliar surfaces.
