Ikosea dimmable ZigBee-based LED outdoor wall light with twilight and motion sensors The Ikosea dimmable ZigBee-based LED outdoor wall light stands out thanks to its slim profile and angular shape, which allows it to be fitted neatly between the wall and the ceiling. The integrated twilight sensor switches the LED module on or off depending on the light conditions. The default setting is 20 per cent output at a pleasantly warm colour temperature. As soon as movement is detected, the integrated motion sensor causes the light to shine at full power for 30 seconds. The light emits light with a low colour temperature of 2,200 K. This colour temperature complies with recommendations from professional associations and scientific studies aimed at reducing the attractiveness of artificial lighting to many nocturnal insects. The colour temperature and brightness of the default setting can also be adjusted as required. This requires integration into a smart home system via a ZigBee bridge. The manufacturer itself provides the smik gateway with a free app for this purpose, which is available separately as an accessory. Alternatively, integration into a ZigBee-enabled smart home system from other providers is also possible. Suitable handheld transmitters from Paulmann, which allow Ikosea to be controlled even without a bridge, can be found amongst the accessories.
