Matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels, it gains golden warmth and subtle oak before finishing in Madeira wine casks to accentuate its fruity character. Distilled in Penderyn’s unique copper pot stills nestled in the Brecon Beacons, this expression brings Welsh innovation to a classic single malt. TASTING NOTES – Nose, A fresh, light-gold hue leads into aromas of creamy toffee and rich sultana sweetness. Layers of orchard fruit and candied peel intertwine with gentle vanilla oak. A soft hint of spice emerges, underscoring the Madeira influence. TASTING NOTES – Palate, The arrival is crisp and finely rounded, marrying balanced sweetness with a delicate dryness.
