Philips Hue Wall Switch Module, Pack of 2 The wall switch module ensures that existing light switches can be used to operate lamps of the Philips Hue smart home system. The original light switch is completely bypassed (clamp included) and is then de-energized. The HUE module is battery-powered and is connected to the free contacts of the switch, i.e. installed directly behind the light switch or button and then connected to the Philips Hue Bridge. The Philips wall switch module detects the state of the actual light switch and thus switches on a HUE lamp via the bridge. A great advantage is that no existing switch must be taped off and even one or two switches can be connected to a module. In the case of an alternating circuit, several modules are simply used. - Double pack - Fits behind existing wall switches - for operation a Philips Hue Bridge is mandatory (see accessories) Note: only usable for Hue lights or Hue bulbs. Conventional lights without Hue technology would light up permanently with this wall module.
