Amazon USB-A TO RS232 ADAPTER – Connect a computer’s standard USB-A port to compatible legacy equipment fitted with a female RS232 DB9 serial port. The cable has a male USB-A connector at one end and a male 9-pin DB9 connector at the other. CH340 CHIPSET – Built around the widely used CH340 USB-to-serial controller to create a COM port for compatible serial communication software. A CH340 driver may need to be installed before first use. FOR LEGACY SERIAL EQUIPMENT – Suitable for connecting compatible PLCs, CNC equipment, barcode scanners, network consoles, industrial controllers and other RS232 devices where the port, wiring and communication requirements match. 1 METRE CONNECTION CABLE – Provides a practical working length between the computer and connected equipment. Moulded connector housings, strain relief and securing screws help produce a stable physical connection. CHECK BEFORE ORDERING – This is a USB-A to RS232 DB9 male adapter.
