A CROSSROADS OF CULTURE: A true crossroads of Mediterranean culture, Principi di Butera is an estate full of history and tradition now restored to its original splendour to produce extraordinary wines IDEAL FOR VINES: Principi di Butera is made up of 320 hectares, of which 170 are planted with vines. The vineyards, nurtured with a coastal breeze, enjoy idyllic conditions for growing Insolia, Nero d'Avola and Grillo grapes, used to create wines filled with sunshine CARIZZA: A light and bright straw-yellow wine formed from 100% Insolia grapes, harvested at peak ripeness and softly pressed before undergoing temperature-controlled fermentation. It is then kept on lees for 6 months before subsequent bottle ageing RICH & HARMONIOUS FLAVOUR: Carizza is a delicate, fresh white wine varietal with a nutty and citrusy character, herbal notes, and hints of white flowers and tropical fruits such as cantaloupe, pineapple, and mango.
