RIBERA DEL DUERO - Protos Reserva is a superb Spanish red wine made with grapes from the vineyards of Ribera del Duero. This wine undergoes 18 months of ageing in American & French oak barrels. BODEGA PROTOS – Founded in 1927, Bodega Protos is the oldest winery in Spain’s Ribera Del Duero hence it's Latin name "first". Wine experts nurture the 1,400ha vineyards to ensure the highest quality. SPANISH RED WINE - Dark cherry red in colour with garnet highlights, typical of a high quality Tempranillo grape after 18 months of oak barrel ageing. NOSE - Intense, black fruit, liquorice, light toasted notes, vanilla, spices, mineral and balsamic tones. PALATE – Protos Roble has good structure. It is fruity and fresh, with a sweet tone of oak and pleasant soft tannins.
