ACTION AND DESCRIPTION Isotonic ophthalmic ointment containing 0.4% sodium hyaluronate. This medical device helps maintain hydration and protect the ocular surface through a protective film. CE Marking. ON: 0426. Class IIa, sterile. COMPOSITION Sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, petrolatum oil, petrolatum, monobasic potassium phosphate, potassium sorbate, disodium phosphate, lanolin alcohol, water, and hydroxymethylglycinate. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Wash your hands thoroughly before using the product. When opening, do not use the first application of the ointment, which may be watery until the ointment comes out of the tube. Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid down to form a pocket. Hold the tube vertically over the eye. Gently squeeze the tube to release a small amount of product into your eye. Repeat the process for the other eye. If an additional daily dose is required, apply a small amount of ointment every three to four hours, or as directed by a doctor. Be careful that the tip of the tube does not touch your eye or your fingers. PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS Do not ingest the product. Do not use this product after the expiration date shown on the box and packaging. Do not use if the package is open or damaged. Keep out of reach of children. If eye irritation occurs, stop using the product and consult your doctor. After application, you may experience a foreign body sensation that disappears when you blink. Do not use the product if you have a known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the components. Keep the product away from direct heat sources. Do not share this product with anyone else. The viscous nature and prolonged presence in the eye may cause temporary blurred vision. Make sure you can see clearly again before driving or using tools or machinery. Remove contact lenses before using the ointment; otherwise, the surface of the contact lenses may be damaged. If you are using other eye drops or ointments, wait about fifteen minutes between each application. It is recommended to use this product last. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use. The product is intended for continuous use for no more than 30 consecutive days; if you do not experience relief from your symptoms, consult your doctor. Do not use this product in case of eye injuries.
