Exclusive to Red Rainbow we have used a soft woven polyester fabric which has been treated to repel water. This means the water beads & runs off if in a rain shower. These beautiful patio or garden cushions covers can also be used indoors, we deliberately used fabric that does not look or feel waterproof, who wants a cushion that feels like a shower curtain or rain coat? ​ Please note they are not 100% waterproof so water can still ingress if left in standing water or heavy showered on for a prolonged time. Be wary of anyone claiming full waterproofing on garden scatter cushions. Spot cleaning recommended as machine washing slowly depletes the water resistant coating. If this occurs after washing they can be sprayed in the future with any fabric waterproofing spray as a top up Cushion covers only- we do not supply the inner pads.
