Retro 51 The MET Collection Rhinelander Pitcher Rollerball Pen
Description
Brepen
This Retro 51 pen is inspired by the intricate details of a fine silver jug made in 1874 or 1875 by Tiffany & Co. under the direction of Edward C. Moore. Illustrating the company's commitment to Near Eastern and Indian art, this jug was gifted by Julia Rhinelander to her niece Mary in 1883 on the occasion of Mary's wedding. This acid-etched Tornado™️ pen depicts the jug's decorations. When you hold this pen in your hand, you can feel the fine details of the garlands, dahlias, lotus flowers and other exotic vegetation on The MET's jug. The pen is finished in stonewashed pewter to reflect the original patinated silver.
