Usage

Prepare the surface by ensuring it is clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, and grease. For bare metal, remove loose rust or paint with a wire brush or 120 grit sandpaper, then wipe with a damp cloth. For metal that has been previously painted, lightly sand with 240 grit sandpaper if the existing paint is in good condition. If the paint is not in good condition, remove and re-clean as needed. Apply Ronseal Direct to Metal Paint directly to rust, without a primer, in 2–3 coats for maximum protection. Allow 2–4 hours for coat drying between applications.
