This 600mm long & 140mm diameter perforated roof drain outlet from Wallbarn is made from durable TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer), a strong rubber & polypropylene compound. It's perfect for roofs & balconies, improving waterproofing for surfaces with bituminous membranes. TPE is UV stable, withstands temperatures up to 120C, & remains flexible in low temperatures. Designed for outlets in thick insulation or metal roofs, it eliminates the need for multiple fittings. The circular drain connector is inserted into a cast hole in the concrete deck, securely bonded through a perforated flange with waterproof membrane layers for a watertight seal. The 240mm shank fits snugly into an HDPE pipe, with a coned design & rings preventing water backflow. Serrations allow secure fitting of a leaf guard. The outlet should not touch bare concrete to avoid water ingress. Compatible with SBS & APP membranes, it works with built-up felt, mastic asphalt, hot melt, & other liquid applied membranes..
