TPE is a compound of rubber and polypropylene, designed for waterproofing drainage holes and outlets on roofs and balconies with bituminous membranes. It is tough, flexible, and UV stable, resilient to atmospheric elements and ground salts, and withstands temperatures up to 120C. Ideal for SBS and APP bituminous membranes including felt, mastic asphalt, hot melt, and fibreglass. The 600mm drainage outlets eliminate multiple connections, preventing leaks. They fit into downpipes within concrete decks. The TPE outlet has a perforated flange to securely bond membrane layers. Its 240mm shank fits HDPE pipes tightly, with a conical shape to ease installation. Two rings on the shank prevent water backflow. Internal ribs and serrations secure leaf guards. It should sit between two waterproofing layers to prevent water ingress beneath the structure. For sheet membranes, an additional adhered layer is recommended.
