SALMO Fatso Floating Lipless Crankbait 100 mmUnleash the legendary, big-predator-catching power of the SALMO Fatso Floating 100 mm. A true icon in the world of angling, the Fatso is far more than a standard lure, it´s a masterfully engineered fish-catching machine designed to trigger aggressive strikes from the largest and most cautious apex predators. While it falls into the category of Lipless Crankbaits, its unique action sets it in a class of its own, blending the best attributes of a crankbait, twitchbait, and pullbait into one incredibly effective package. The primary benefit of the Fatso lies in its unmatched versatility and its signature, lazy, side-to-side gliding action. On a straight, steady retrieve, it wobbles seductively through the water column, creating significant disturbance with its bulky profile. This powerful water displacement sends out vibrations that call in fish like pike, musky, and zander from a great distance. However, the true magic happens when you impart action. With gentle twitches or long pulls of the rod, the Fatso darts erratically from side to side, perfectly mimicking a wounded or disoriented baitfish—an absolutely irresistible target for a hungry predator. This dying fish imitation is the key to provoking reaction strikes even when the fish are not actively feeding. As a premier lure in the 71-100 mm size class, the 10cm Fatso offers a substantial meal for trophy fish without being overly intimidating. Its floating nature allows you to work it effectively over submerged vegetation, weed beds, and rocky structures. You can pause the retrieve and let it slowly rise, often triggering an explosive surface strike. This level of control gives you the power to meticulously dissect an area and keep the lure in the strike zone for the maximum amount of time. Built to withstand brutal attacks, every Salmo lure is individually tank-tested to ensure perfect performance right out of the box, giving you the confidence that your lure will swim true on every cast.Features:- Three new colours for Salmo Fatso, Bright Perch, Bleeding Blue Shad and Holo Red Head Striper- Colours available in both 10cm floating and 10cm sinking modelsWhether you are a seasoned musky hunter or a dedicated pike angler, the Salmo Fatso is an essential tool that has earned its place in lure boxes across the globe.
