The product must always be completely clean, before it is put away. It is not recommended to wash the product in the dishwasher.  Taking care of your non-stick cookware:  SCANPAN® products are made for specific purposes; pans for frying, pots and saucepans for boiling, etc. By using the products for the right purposes, you will experience the best performance and longevity of the products. If you use the products for other purposes, they may not perform optimally, and the non-stick coating may be impaired. Do not overheat the product. This Scanpan CTX 32cm Chef Pan with Lid has a 5-ply multi-layer construction of aluminium and stainless steel for optimum heat distribution without hot spots. A chef's pan does pretty much the same as a saute pan - sauteing vegetables, browning meat etc but has two short handles instead of one so it can also be used for serving. Suitable for all hob types, including induction, this chef's pan is also oven proof up to a temperature of 260°C.
