From the House of Sempé: One of the most well-known trading houses in Armagnac French Brandy, with over 32 gold medals and 28 silver awards. Sempe were the first Armagnac exporters, providing some of the best Armagnac the region has to offer with strong connections to the terroir and local wine growers. Modern Take on Classic French Tradition: Sempé VS Bas Armagnac is ideal for cocktails or sipping. Versatile enough for Armagnac based classic cocktails, yet elegant on its own over ice. Recreating the Classic 1920s Cocktail, The Sidecar: Mix up this sophisticated classic for an elevated drinking experience. In a cocktail shaker mix 50ml Sempé armagnac, 25ml triple sec, 25ml lemon juice and a handful of ice. Shake until chilled on the outside and simply strain into a coupé glass. Cask Aged: Sempe VS Bas Armagnac is the youngest of the blends, this VS is a blend of eaux-de-vie - the youngest having spent a minimum of one year in cask, blended with older vintages for added complexity. Tasting Notes: A deep, old gold in colour. This Armagnac is fruity, with a nose of dried fruits. A long, complex finish with a stunning roundness. The ideal armagnac to start a tasting.
