The very architectural looking luminaire consists of a total of two shades. The outer shade made of borosilicate glass is cubic with slightly rounded corners and edges. The inner shade influences the lighting effect, but mainly light can escape upwards and downwards. With an appropriate dimmer (phase cut dimmer, excl.), the wall lamp can also be dimmed. The two designers of Crib Wall, Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf, are also the founders of the manufacturer serien.lighting. Their friendship from their student days led to the foundation of their own company in 1985, with which the two industrial designers are active worldwide today.
