These will be a great upgrade from the more basic shifter set 15 speed sets are so hard to find now and these are needed for early atb or kids bikes as a lot had 5 speed rear shifters. Compatible with 5-speed Shimano derailleurs and other brands with 2:1 ratio so you can use these on other brands of gears as an upgrade.
