Its matte black finish and angular profile integrate seamlessly with modern bicycle frames, adding a touch of sophisticated style without compromising on hardcore performance. The Edge AL stands apart with its remarkable rigidity and durability. Constructed with an intelligent design, it mounts securely to your frame, providing a rattle-free and stable solution that can withstand the vibrations and impacts of demanding rides. This stability ensures consistent and reliable coverage, keeping water and dirt exactly where they belong: on the ground. A key innovation is the ASR (Automatic Stay Release) safety system. This crucial feature provides peace of mind by allowing the stays to disconnect from the front fork if a branch or other debris becomes lodged between the spokes and the mudguard, significantly reducing the risk of an accident and protecting both the rider and the bike.--- A Clean Solution: Optional Mudguard ExtensionFor those seeking the absolute maximum in spray protection, the SKS Edge AL mudguards can be enhanced with a flexible plastic spoiler. This innovative extension provides a clean and highly effective solution for even the wettest conditions. The flexible plastic spoiler is designed to extend the SKS BLUEMELS and EDGE AL mudguards by up to 137 mm, offering significantly improved protection against spray water from the rear wheel. This extension is versatile, suitable for all angular mudguard profiles with a width of 46, 56, 65, 69, and 75 mm.Simple and Secure Mounting:Mounting the spoiler is straightforward. If a USC connector is already fitted to the end of the mudguard (approx. 40 mm), it can be used for mounting. If not, the process requires just two small holes, made easy with the enclosed drilling template. The flexible spoiler is then pushed onto the end of the rear and front mudguards and securely mounted with a clip and two locking washers for a firm, reliable fit.Extension Features:- Designed for SKS mudguards- Suitable for all angular mudguard profiles- Made of soft, flexible plastic for durabilityExtension Specifications:- Length: 56 mm- Width: 117 mm- Material: Plastic--- Main Features:- Superior stability and rigidity for a quiet, secure fit.- ASR safety release system enhances rider safety.- Sleek matte black finish complements any modern bike.- Provides outstanding protection from water and dirt.- Ideal for MTB Cycling, trekking, and urban commuting.
