The Starrett Fast Cut Bi-Metal Holesaw is designed for faster, smoother cutting across a range of materials, with an upgraded cobalt-reinforced tooth material and a 5.5 TPI/25 mm tooth form to enhance heat resistance and wear life. Optimized for cutting stainless and mild steel sheets, it can also handle metal tubes up to 3 mm (1/8 in) wall thickness. The 48 mm diameter hole saw provides a cutting depth of 41 mm, and features 30% extra gullet volume to improve material penetration. It is compatible with standard drill chucks and is intended for use in metalworking, plumbing, electrical work, and DIY projects where efficient, clean cuts are required. Note that this hole saw does not include the Arbor and Pilot drill.
