Swindon Composite Supplies : Mica Pearl Pigment Powder for Epoxy Resin (Solid Green 50g)

A range of coated mica-based pigments used to create metallic, solid , iridescent and pearlescent effects . Can be adapted to give both natural mineral looks or creative, colourful effects. Metallic Effect Pigment Powders are suitable for many applications. We have tested the pigments with ALL of the resin systems we sell including our Water clear ( polyester ) resin , Epoxy resins and ART Resins we sell. The powders offer the following : Non Bleed , Non Rust , Non Toxic , Waterproof , Cosmetic Skin Safe Mix Ratio : We have tested this at 5% by weight . You can change this to get the effect you want but we suggest not using more than 10% as this could prevent the resin curing. The sample pictures are of the powders mixed with our resin mixed at 5% . Please factor in screen performance and mix ratio as the colour can be subtlety different. We always always advise and suggest that tests be carried out before any larger mix or critical project. Whilst we expect the pigments to work for most resins inc Epoxy and Polyester Resins , we have only tested the pigments with our OWN resin systems we sell.
