They offer fire resistance and corrosion resistance, with an Elementech coating that has been salt spray tested for 1000 hours. Each screw includes a 16mm EPDM rubber washer to ensure a secure, weatherproof seal. Specifications include a size of 5.5 x 40mm, diameter 5.5mm, and an effective thread length of 17mm. The No.5 drill tip is suitable for self-drilling into steel up to 12.5mm thick, and the screws feature a hex head. Pack size is 100 screws. These screws are compatible with metal roofing panels and steel framing and are supplied with 16mm EPDM rubber washers for sealing. Installation uses a compatible drill with a No.5 tip, inserting the screw through the roofing panel into the steel frame and ensuring the washer is properly seated.
